House rules

Liability

The landlord is not liable for the guest's/guests' valuables.

Right of Entry

In the event of urgent repairs, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the holiday apartment without the guest's knowledge.

Duty of Care

We ask our guests to treat all furnishings and equipment with care and to ensure that all fellow travelers and family members also comply with the rental terms. The apartment's front door should always be kept closed and locked with the key when leaving the building. Likewise, all windows should be closed when leaving the apartment to prevent potential damage from storms or burglary. Please use water and electricity sparingly.

Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Kitchen

Please treat the kitchen furnishings and appliances with care. Since no one enjoys a dirty kitchen, please only put dishes, pots, and cutlery away when they are clean and dry. Dish soap can be found in the cabinet under the sink. Please do not place hot pots or other hot items directly on the tables or countertops without a trivet or coaster. Always use a cutting board when chopping. Please leave the oven and microwave clean. First Aid Kit: A first aid kit can be found in the multi-purpose cabinet in the kitchen. We would appreciate it if you could notify us if anything is missing or if you have needed to use any of the kit's contents.

Ventilation

To prevent mold growth, please ventilate the rooms sufficiently, at least once a day with a thorough airing for 5-10 minutes, and especially after showering or bathing.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. Please leave the apartment to smoke.

Cleaning

Final cleaning of the vacation apartment is included in the rental price. You will receive the apartment in impeccably maintained condition, and therefore we expect our guests to also keep the apartment clean and tidy upon departure. The necessary cleaning supplies (broom, dustpan, and dustpan, as well as a vacuum cleaner) are available for your use in the kitchen under the sink and in the multi-purpose cupboard.

For long-term bookings (1 week or more), we offer an additional cleaning of the vacation apartment, including a towel change, upon request.

Keys

Please never give your front door or apartment key to anyone else. Any loss of a key must be reported immediately; the guest is liable for the replacement cost (since the key is part of a master key system, several locks will need to be changed in case of loss). Please remember to return the keys upon your departure. The easiest way is to leave the key in the lock on the outside of the apartment door when you leave, or to leave it in the key box.
