Remagen is a 2000-year-old Roman town (formerly Rigomagus) centrally located on the romantic Middle Rhine. A place where past and present harmoniously meet.

With its eventful past and idyllic location on the Middle Rhine, this town promises interesting, relaxing, and unforgettable days. Among its most famous sights is the Remagen Bridge. A visit to the bridge museum is highly recommended. From there, the Rhine promenade (especially during the warmer months) invites you to take leisurely strolls and relax in the cafes and restaurants along the riverbank and in the historic town center. In the garden of St. Apollinaris Church, you can enjoy an excellent view of the town and a magnificent panoramic view of the Rhine, the Drachenfels, and the Erpeler Ley. The proximity to the entrance of the Ahr Valley (approximately 5 km away) makes it ideal for extensive bike tours to the historic old towns of Ahrweiler and Altenahr. Here, the Middle Rhine Valley and the Ahr Valley meet in a scenic setting.
